OMG.. Great alone too.\u00a0 Big fruit but lite with alcohol.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1400 speed blogging<\/strong><br \/>\nAridus vigionier. Born and raised in Wilcox Arizona.<\/p>\n<p>Alta Maria 2012 Chardonnay. The neutral French Oak created a\u00a0 lite buttery hint that does not overshadow the grape.\u00a0 Velvet on the palate.<\/p>\n<p>Fess Parker 2012 Viognier.\u00a0 Yes, Fess Parker the actor.\u00a0 If you are as old as Hill, you will remember him.\u00a0 Ooh, nice and clean on the palate, fruit forward with hints of oak and caramel.<\/p>\n<p>Terravant 2011 Chardonnay.\u00a0 Monterey grapes. Classic Chardonnay.\u00a0 Deep, rich. Complex.<\/p>\n<p>Pacific Rim from Columbia Valley Wa.\u00a0 Riesling. Owner is Nicolas Quilla created the sweetness meter called Riesling Rule.\u00a0 This one was dry per the meter.<\/p>\n<p>Urban Legend from Oaktown. 2011 Grenache Blanc.\u00a0 Capay Valley grapes.\u00a0 Fruity, dry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1530 Wine Blends<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Blind tasting of wine blends from around the world.\u00a0 Excellant.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1700. Santa Barbara winery excursion<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We got on the short bus for a mystery trip to an unknown winery for tasting and dinner.\u00a0 We ended up at Melville winery.\u00a0 Chad Melville gave us a tour.\u00a0 Tasted some berries right off the vine. Then, we went into the tasting room and tasted 7 wineries.\u00a0 My poor liver.<\/p>\n<p>We tasted; Alma Rosa, Melville, Brewer-Clifton, Lafond, Zotovich, Carr, Ampelos,\u00a0 and Babcock.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday 0930 hours<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>First class of the day.\u00a0 Business of wine.\u00a0 Eye opening.
